Mobile Medical Software for the Pocket PC and other PDA devices

AdvancedMD medical software works how you need it to - on your mobile Pocket PC / PDA. Never miss a charge medical capture again.

Tablet PC features:

Mobile medical software
  • Enter medical charges during the examination
  • AdvancedMD Medical Software Works with many mobile computing devices like Tablet PCs, Pocket PCs and PDAs
  • AdvancedMD Medical Software Works with many EMR applications and AdvancedEMR software
  • AdvancedMD Medical Software Saves time and reduces medical transcription costs

AdvancedMD's mobile Pocket PC / PDA software solution helps reduce lost medical charges and improve the delays in "days to billing" that cause collection problems, write-offs and adjustments.

Physicians use AdvancedMD medical software on a mobile Pocket PC / PDA at or near the point-of-service to complete an online medical charge slip for each patient visit. This mobile medical software works with Tablet PCs, PDAs and Pocket PCs. Here's how the process works:

  • Patient scheduling information flows from the practice's central database into the physician's mobile Pocket PC / PDA via a docking station or wireless network card.
  • On the PDA / mobile device, the physician uses the software to select a patient from the synchronized schedule. Patient visits are color coded - enabling the physician to distinguish between new and established patients. By clicking on the appointment icon, the physician is able to review demographic information before going to the appointment.
  • With AdvancedMD software, the physician enters professional services, diagnosis codes and medical procedures into the mobile Pocket PC / PDA in real time, as well as any recall information.
  • If the physician is using a wireless network card, simply pressing the process button sends the online charge slip to the server the next time the device is in range of the wireless network.
  • If the physician is using the mobile Pocket PC / PDA without a wireless network card or is working offline (at an offsite location such as the hospital), the physician can place the device into the docking station upon return, which sends the updated charges instantly to the practice’s main database.

For physicians whose clinical rounds require seeing new patients out of the office, a patient medical record can be added on the mobile Pocket PC / PDA and later synchronized to the main database.

Tablet PC option

If you prefer a Tablet PC over a Pocket PC as a mobile PDA, the full-screen AdvancedMD medical software application can be used over a wireless network, including schedule review, patient medical information and the online medical charge slip.
