Updates are automatic and free – there’s no software to download, nothing to upgrade or buy. Included are future standards being phased in over the next several years, such as ANSI 5010 and ICD-10. ANSI 5010 Transactions
AdvancedMD is working closely with our clearinghouse and other partners to ensure our software and end-to-end systems are fully compliant with this new regulation as it is phased in over a two year period.
Smooth ICD-10 Migration
As this new code set is implemented in preparation for an October 1, 2013 deadline, AdvancedMD automatically integrates all ICD-10 codes directly into the encounter review screen of our online medical billing and clinical software. We also provide the requisite two-year overlapping “mapping” to old ICD-9 codes to ease the transition and keep you in complete compliance.
