Markus Muhlhauser

CEO, PhyLogic Healthcare LLC

In 2001, Markus founded PhyLogic Healthcare, a national billing and revenue cycle management firm, managing apx. 100 clients, which are a mix of private practices and hospital-based groups. Markus started in the revenue cycle management field in 1994, and soon thereafter was in charge of billing and A/R management contracts for large organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University Medical Center. In 1996, Markus became a partner in charge of business development for a regional billing service and practice management software systems developer. He helped grow that company from a regional, 11-employee firm to one with over 150 employees, serving national clients ranging in size from solo practices to groups of over 100 physicians. Markus holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hartford, and served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
