Capture Charges The Easy Way
AdvancedEMR takes the same versatile, customizable online charge slip found in AdvancedMD and puts it where it can flow naturally into the encounter. In other words, it's right where the doctor will be working anyway, so that capturing charges for a visit is as easy as pointing and clicking. Once the provider enters charges, they are instantly updated to the front desk, so when the patient checks out, the patient portion is already calculated.
Customizing The Charge Slip
When you set up your system, simply import your most frequently used CPT and ICD-9 codes from our database. Those you import show up on the charge slip, so only the codes you use are on the slip. There's no need to wade through codes for procedures you don't perform: it's customized to your specialty.
Schedule Recall Visits
The online charge slip also contains a section where you can indicate when you need to see the patient again. This information goes to the front desk along with the charge information, so when the patient checks out, the front desk staff knows when to schedule the patient again.
Review Charges For Errors
If desired, charges you enter in AdvancedEMR can be queued in AdvancedMD and reviewed by a biller prior to posting.
