New EHR System Default
We have added the Default electronic signature printed prescription EHR system default. This default can disable electronic signatures on printed prescriptions. When a provider is set up to sign prescriptions electronically, prescriptions will print with the electronically signed indicator. If regulations do not permit electronic signatures on printed prescriptions, as they do in some states, or if your workflow is to have providers manually sign printed prescriptions, you can change the system default to No, and prescriptions will print with a blank line for a manual signature.
