EPCS new schedule check (EHR/PMeRx)

EPCS New Schedule Check (EHR/PMeRx)
We have added an additional check for Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS). If you have the EPCS feature, you are required to send prescriptions for controlled substances using the most restrictive drug schedule. The DEA and a state can assign different drug schedules for the same controlled substance.

Scanning documents (EHR)

Scanning Documents (EHR)
We have updated the scanning functionality in EHR to allow you to scan documents when using the EHR in Chrome or Firefox.

New payment reason fields

AdvancedInsight (PM)
You can now select Payment Reason and Denial Codes and associated data to add to your AdvancedInsight™ custom reports.

New Tax ID Fields

AdvancedInsight (PM)
We have also added Tax ID fields that can be included in your reports. These new fields contain the Federal ID from the master file and are in the Provider field set:
• Billing Provider Tax ID
• Group Tax ID
• Provider Profile Tax ID

Dashboard current aging buckets

AdvancedInsight (PM)
We have renamed the A/R Buckets section of the dashboard Current Aging Buckets to reflect that the values displayed in this chart are only calculated from today, using today’s current balance (Insurance Balance + Patient Balance) back to the aging date.

Assign due date to HealthWatcherTM templates

HealthWatcher Templates (EHR)
As part of a future enhancement, we have added a Due Date Based On field to the HealthWatcher Templates screen. This field allows you to assign a default due date for HealthWatcher plans at the template level. The due date will be used when creating HealthWatcher plans when the remainder of the feature is released.

Prompt to save diagnosis to problem list on sign

User Preferences (EHR)
A new user preference, Prompt to Save Diagnosis to Problem List on Sign, has been added to the EHR. This setting allows users to automatically add ICD codes from a saved and signed online charge slip to the patient’s Problem List.

Exclusions Information Screen

Claims Center – Exclusions (PM)
You can now view on-screen claim exclusion resolution information for many exclusions in the new Exclusion Information screen accessed from the Exclusions tab. This new screen saves you time by displaying the steps to resolve the exclusion error on screen while you are on the exclusions tab.

Appointment type setup

AdvancedPatient (PM)
We have added a new feature, Patient Forms to Add with Appointment, to the Appointment Type Setup master file that allows you to add patient forms to an appointment type. You can then choose to assign any or none of the forms to patients from the scheduled appointment.

Patient chart layout update

Mobile App (PM/EHR)
We have updated the layout of the patient chart on all chart screens so the patient photo, date of birth, and age now display at the top next to the patient name. Previously, the patient photo, date of birth, and age displayed on the side toolbar.

Growth chart

Mobile App (PM/EHR)
We are excited to announce that we now have Growth Charts available in the Advanced MobileDocTM iPad® app

“With the new scheduler and EHR, we get a lot of the information up front, so when the patient comes in, unless they have something changed insurance-wise they’re already verified and ready to be taken back right away, it also makes it much easier for billing.”

Nancy Sutter
Office manager

“Our workflow has diminished as far as the redundancies, having to do the back-and-click here or check on this and check on that—it’s all right there!”

Johnette Lamborne
Office manager
