Patient forms screen updates

AdvancedPatient (PM/Mobile)
We have updated the layout of the Patient Forms screen by removing the Added and Assigned columns. We have added a new Send to Patient button, removed the Assign button, and renamed the Retract button to Remove.

• View suggested plans for the patient based on the selected provider
• View all HealthWatcher plans
• View plans assigned to the patient, and the plan status
• Assign or remove a plan for a patient
• View scheduled HealthWatcher plan reminders for the patient

Auto-expire patient forms

AdvancedPatient (PM/Mobile)
We have enhanced the patient forms workflow by increasing the number of days before forms automatically expire. All uncompleted forms now auto-expire 30 days after the associated appointment date. Forms that are partially completed can still be reviewed and accepted by your practice, but will display an expired status in the Front Office app and in the Review tab in the Patient Forms check-in screen. Forms that were never started will be deleted from the system. Prior to this enhancement, patient forms auto-expired one day after the associated appointment.



Collection activity by patient visit

Reports (PM)
As part of our recent visit-based worklists enhancement to the Collections module, we have added a Visit Level Action section to the Collector User Productivity report. With this change, you can now see worklist collection activity for charges at both the patient visit level and responsible party account level in one report.


Eligibility system default (PM)

We have updated the Include Unconfirmed Eligibility in Pt. Memo system default to allow you to indicate if you do not want unconfirmed patient eEligibility™ information to be recorded in the patient memo.
When set to Yes, and patient eligibility is returned from the carrier as unconfirmed, a patient memo is automatically created recording the eligibility information. The default is Yes.
Select No to prevent unconfirmed patient eligibility information from being recorded in the patient memo.


Update patient forms for existing appointments

AdvancedPatient (PM)
We have enhanced the Patient Forms to Add with Appointment feature with the ability to automatically add or remove patient forms from existing appointments with a future date based on appointment type. When you assign or remove a form from an appointment type in the Appointment Type Setup master file, you can use the new Apply to Existing Appointments of This Type option to also apply your change to existing future appointments.



New standard UB-04 red form available

Paper Claims Processing (PM)
We have added a new paper claim form, Standard UB-04 Red, to the list of Primary Form options in the Carriers EDI/Other screen, and the Paper Claim Templates grid in the Demand Claim screen.

iPad Update (Mobile)
Hide Block/Hold Events on Schedule
We have added a new setting, Hide Schedule Block/Hold Time, that allows you to hide Block/Hold events on the iPad® mobile app Schedule. If an appointment is scheduled over a hold event, the appointment will display regardless of the setting.


Document scanning module (PM/EHR)

Document Scanning Module (PM/EHR)
The Document Scanning Module allows you to easily scan and import documents and files, such as photos, insurance cards, consent forms and other images, and upload them to the PM or EHR. Files can be associated with patients, categorized and assigned to a specific visit, provider, facility, referring provider, as well as a date of service. These files are accessible from the Chart Files tab in Patient Demographics and General Files screen in the PM, and in the designated folders in the patient’s chart in the EHR.
