- Master Files (PM)

- System Defaults Overview (PM)
- Video Training Library (PM/Mobile)
Updates made to:
We have made updates to two areas of AdvancedPatient™.
Appointment Reminders
We have enhanced AdvancedPatient Appointment Reminder setup with a default email address. If you do not designate an Administrative Email Address for your Appointment Reminders, the system will use a default value of [email protected].
Important Note: The email address, [email protected], does not accept replies. To receive email replies from appointment reminders, enter an email address that is monitored by your office staff.
Patient Matching Rules Enhancement
We have expanded and enhanced the search rules used to match patient information sent from the vendor-specific EHR to the PM database. There are now more patient information matching rules used to find patients and those rules are organized to work more efficiently so
that matches can be made by the interface more easily and quickly than previously.
An Additional Patient Search Information section has also been added with additional details on how patient matching searches are carried out by the AdvancedXchange interface. See the AdvancedXchange Error Resolution help file in PM.
Patient Viewable
We have added a Patient Viewable check box to mobile app patient notes and growth charts. This check box functions the same as it does in EHR. Select this check box to make a note or growth chart viewable in the patient portal.
Note: The Patient Viewable check box always displays in the mobile app, even if you have set the Patient Note Viewable in Patient Portal and Growth Charts Viewable in Patient Portal PM system defaults to No.
We have enhanced Patient Portal account setup with increased password validation on all pages where patients can create or reset a patient portal password. Visual indicators display on the screen when a patient enters a new password to let them know if their password meets password security requirements.
Exclude Line Item Charges on Demand Claims
We have improved the functionality of demand claims to exclude any line items with the No radio button selected in the Bill Insurance field in charge entry.
High Priority Chart Item Check Box & Icon
To assist you with tracking important items, we have added a High Priority check box to the following EHR chart items:
Note: The High Priority check box is disabled on signed chart items. When the High Priority check box is selected, a High Priority icon displays on that chart item in the following areas:
We have enhanced the Claims Center Overview tab with overall financial Totals for your CBO master key.
Customizable Tabs
We have added a new patient Status field to the Patient Details section in the EHR header.
Now, when a patient is marked Inactive, Deceased, or with a custom status, the status will display. The field does not display for active patients.
We have updated the Deceased field in the Patient Information screen to allow you to record custom statuses represening the state of a patient in your office. As part of this update, we have:
The new inactive status operates the same as the deceased status. Once a patient is marked as inactive or deceased, no new appointments can be scheduled, and no new forms for the patient can be created from the Forms tab. Users will also be prompted to delete future appointments for inactive or deceased patients.
Delete this text and replace it with your own content.
Patient Status
The Patient Status master file allows you to create custom patient status options to use in the Patient Status field on the Patient Information tab.
Note: The user-defined statuses you add to the master file will have no effect on appointment scheduling or forms creation.
Each EHR chart features a checkbox so you can flag high priority items in notes, prescriptions, orders, results, documents, uploads & charge slips. All flagged items appear with an alert icon in the review bin & chart list for fast & easy reference.
