AdvancedMD EHR: now with multi-browser support
AdvancedMD EHR is now OS agnostic, giving you the freedom and flexibility to use nearly any device that runs on a Mac or Windows operating system.
If you have browsed around IdeaShare lately it’s likely you’ve seen a high number of requests to make AdvancedMD cross-platform friendly.
Don’t worry. We’ve seen them too. And we listened…
Introducing AdvancedMD EHR: now with multi-browser support. It’s our most flexible platform we’ve ever offered. Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer are all supported. Yay! Firefox is scheduled for availability later this summer. AdvancedMD scheduling and billing software are around the corner.
Flexible. You now have nearly unlimited options for hardware. You can use our mobile apps that work seamlessly on the iPad and iPhone. You have countless tablet options including Microsoft Surface. All the Apple desktop products work beautifully and natively including MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Pro. And soon…Apple Watch.
Personal. Pick your favorite browser and get complete access to your health records. Anything you update on any browser is immediately available on your iPhone and iPad. We’re wrapping up testing in Firefox. Expect an announcement about its availability later the summer.
Stable. No more awkward workarounds like parallels or Boot Camp. It just works. And we’re able to significantly reduce failures that occasionally occurred in Internet Explorer.
Secure. Today’s modern browsers are really quite amazing. They’re built on thinner code sets, offer faster and more stable performance, and security improves because of tokens and certificates.
