Appointment Type Setup Feature Enhancement


When you add patient forms to an appointment type, the forms will automatically be added to the appointment when it is made. Your staff can then quickly assign forms to the patient. Patients can complete forms at home prior to the appointment via the patient portal. Once forms are accepted, they are saved to the patient chart in the PM.

The Patient Forms to Add with Appointment feature in PM is part of the AdvancedPatient  suite of tools.



Go to Master Files | Appointments | Appointment Types.

1. Select an appointment type, or create a new appointment type and click Save.
Note: A new appointment type must be saved before you can add forms.

2. Under Patient Forms to Add with Appointment, click Modify. The Appointment Type Forms Setup screen displays.

3. Add patient forms to the appointment type using the Appointment Type Forms Setup screen and click Save. TheAppointment Type Forms Setup screen closes, and the forms are added to the appointment type.

4. Click Save.
