The same result can be achieved with a desktop computer in the exam room, and EHR desktop versions that are fully integrated with practice management tools typically offer even more features than tablet versions.
- Happier physicians: Anecdotally, physicians who incorporate an integrated workflow into their practices note they have more time to spend with their patients. Generally, primary care physicians spend an average of only six minutes per patient because they must see a certain number of patients a day to be profitable.
