Are you meeting Objective 10: Public Health Reporting?
Meaningful Use is not ending
Are you meeting Objective #10: Public Health & Clinical Data Registry Reporting?
If you’re not submitting to your registries, or in testing and validation with your registries, to meet the Public Health Reporting objective for 2016, in applicable states, you must complete registration to submit data no later than February 29, 2016.
Providers must register to their state immunization registry, public health agency (PHA), or where applicable, the clinical data registry (CDR), within 60 days of the start of the reporting period in order to meet active engagement on public health reporting for Meaningful Use.
If you’re applying for exclusion, some state registries require you to apply within 60 days of the start of the reporting period. We recommend if you have specific questions about how to meet the public health reporting objective for your practice, to contact CMS or your state registry directly.
To meet the Public Health Reporting objective, the eligible professional must be in active engagement with a public health agency to submit electronic public health data from CEHRT, except where prohibited and in accordance with applicable law and practice.
