Prepared for ICD-10

advancedmd-photos-cs2

Here’s a recap on how the transition to ICD-10 went for the first two days for the AdvancedMD clients.

We are pleased that support calls were much lower than expected, which is a testament on how prepared the AdvancedMD associates were for this big day. The majority of calls we received were questions around the charge slip, dual coding and the code sets on the claims. We verified that many claims were successfully produced containing ICD-10 codes. We saw several new and valid ICD-10 claims edits just as we had hoped.

This quote is proof the AdvancedMD clients enjoyed a smooth transition to ICD-10. We appreciate our wonderful clients who have taken time out of their hectic day to say such wonderful things.

“Your ICD10 Housekeeping webinar was dead-on and to the point. It was the best webinar I have ever taken. I can’t believe the effort and workload this project created and for the length of time it took to provide the necessary information to the medical field. I hope everyone involved is feeling proud and relieved today for the excellent job well done.”

AdvancedMD EHR and AdvancedMD practice management are fully prepared for ICD-10.

“If you want to be focused on your practice and not worry about infrastructure, this is it. It’s transparent, just like when I plug something into the wall I’m not worried about what the voltage is and what’s the availability; it’s just there—like AdvancedMD. It does it so well sometimes you don’t appreciate it until you really think about it.”

Occupational Therapist

“With the new scheduler and EHR, we get a lot of the information up front, so when the patient comes in, unless they have something changed insurance-wise they’re already verified and ready to be taken back right away, it also makes it much easier for billing.”
