Here’s a recap on how the transition to ICD-10 went for the first two days for the AdvancedMD clients.

We are pleased that support calls were much lower than expected, which is a testament on how prepared the AdvancedMD associates were for this big day. The majority of calls we received were questions around the charge slip, dual coding and the code sets on the claims. We verified that many claims were successfully produced containing ICD-10 codes. We saw several new and valid ICD-10 claims edits just as we had hoped.
