The Calm After the Storm
When hurricanes hit, cloud-based and mobile platforms like AdvancedMD Rhythm enable medical groups to maintain provision of services.
On August 25, 2017, a monster hurricane, Harvey, made landfall on the central Texas coast. The epic storm crippled hundreds of square miles, leading to a widespread loss of electricity and water services. Less than a week later, Hurricane Irma formed as the most intense Atlantic Hurricane since Katrina in 2005. As these disasters ran their course and residents required medical care, physicians desperately tried to meet that demand. Read what happened next in the AMGA publication, Group Practice Journal.
