Period Close Automation | AdvancedMD

Medical billing period close automation. It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3…

With AdvancedMD medical billing software we can streamline your billing workflow so you can work efficiently and with less staff overhead to close out your end-of-day or end-of-month with ease. The benefits of automation are unparalleled. Sit back while your day and month periods close automatically.

  1. Go to the Automation Center under Modules. Click the cog wheel to create a rule for your end-of-day or end-of-month closings.
  1. Schedule and name your rule. Choose the start date and time, frequency such as end of day or monthly, end date, and where notifications should be sent.
  1. Select billing parameters for the rules such as payment types or timetables based on provider specialty. If using our Central Billing Office, select the office keys you want to close out.
  1. Save your new custom rule settings and sit back while your periods close automatically.

“The money I have invested in AdvancedMD is miniscule compared to the return. I have never been more efficient – ever – in my professional life as I am now.”

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”
