Charge Slips, Patient Kiosk, Bookmarks, Mobile App, VTL

Charge Slips (PM)

Display Preferred Phone Number in Standard Charge Slip Header

The patient’s preferred phone number (found in the Patient Information screen) now displays in the header of the charge slip when you generate a charge slip.

Previously, the patient’s home phone number displayed by default in the charge slip header.

Patient Kiosk (PM/Mobile)

Prevent Payment Prompt in Patient Kiosk

You can now prevent the Patient Kiosk from prompting a patient for a payment during check-in if you have Invoice Billing enabled. Preventing patient payment during check-in can eliminate confusion in cases where an employer or other organization is responsible for the cost of treatment, not the patient.

Note: Contact Client Support Services for more information about using Invoice Billing in your practice.

In PM, click the Patient Information icon.

  1. Select the relevant patient.
  2. Set the Relationship to Invoice. The Responsible Party Name field is replaced with Invoice Entity Name.
  3. Click the Invoice Entity Name ellipsis to select the invoice entity.
  4. Save.
When the patient checks in on the Patient Kiosk, they will not be asked for payment.

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”

Keith Berkowitz, MD
