On the evening of June 15, 2022, a small code update was deployed in preparation of our Summer 2022 release. A component related to EHR Notes had a bug that impacted performance only when under heavy load. It’s possible a new encryption certificate that was deployed further contributed to performance issues.
The problem was immediately recognized as a “critical issue” and a large team of experts quickly investigated the issue. Despite the attention given to it, this problem was extremely elusive. We believe there were two separate, unrelated changes that contributed to the problem.
At this point, outages and related performance issues have been fully resolved.
If you’d like more information regarding the recent outage, please reach out and our senior engineering team can provide additional information.
