One of the best features within our ePrescribing workflow is getting an upgrade—the real-time prescription benefit, which currently allows providers to review a patient’s insurance coverage for prescriptions in real-time. By adding partner pharmacies to this benefit, providers can also see the coverage that is offered for prescriptions at their owned or partner pharmacy or the patient’s preferred pharmacy to see which is cheaper or more convenient for pickup. It adds to the lower cost alternatives and prior authorization details that you see today.
