HealthWatcher Mobile Updates
We’re excited to announce that you will soon be able to assign and manage patient HealthWatcher™ plans on your iPad® and iPhone®. Read more.
The key benefits for your independent practice include extending patient coverage areas, plus care mirrors an office visit, allowing you to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients remotely. Telemedicine makes working at home and on-call much more convenient. Read more on Telemedicine.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve expanded our AdvancedPatient suite to include patient reminders. Most standalone reminder services charge around $50 per month for similar features and functionality. We’re making this available for free with unlimited use to all clients with AdvancedPatient. Front Office User Interface
As an AdvancedPatient user you already have the powerful front office app to maintain patients and forms. We enhanced the front office app making it more open and visually pleasing and freed up screen real estate so it’s easier to use with more information available. We also added the auto-assigning functionality to forms within the app and improved the flow of information needed to work with a patient. Additionally, you can view the last two weeks of appointments. Read more.
Auto-assign Forms. We took an already simple process and improved upon it. Our goal with AdvancedPatient is to make the intake process as simple, quick and easy as possible. We wanted to increase the productivity of the office staff and accuracy of data. Now the regular process of making an appointment for someone automatically assigns them intake, consent and demographic forms. Patients receive an invite to the patient portal or notification that they have new forms to complete. All this without doing anything other than making an appointment. Read more.
Coming Soon: Pharmacy Savings Plan
We’ll soon be launching a new pharmacy savings plan as part of our ePrescribing solutions (PM, EHR and mobile). This program allows you to receive up-to-date information about medications at the point-of-care. Patients save money on qualifying pharmaceuticals.
Growth charts allow you to easily graph a pediatric patient’s growth. When a growth chart is generated, data from assigned note fields is used to calculate growth chart measurements. Read more.

Meet the Newest Member of the RCM Team
Sr. Director of OperationsBen Cervinski started with AdvancedMD in May 2016. Ben has spent 22 years in the RCM business where his most recent position was Chief Operating Officer with a national RCM company. Ben has witnessed many changes in the industry, from the passage of the HIPAA regulations in the 90’s, standardization of ANSI X-12 EDI transactions, National Provider Identifier (NPI) assignment, Meaningful Use, and most recently, ICD-10 implementation, just to name a few.Ben has a strong RCM operational background, which helps him develop and standardize policies and procedures across RCM and related departments, and also plays a key role in development of annual Service Operation Control (SOC) Type II Reports. In addition to a great understanding of RCM business operations, Ben has also developed performance benchmarks and goals for both onshore and offshore operations.Ben is a member and participant of the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and the Utah Health Information Network (UHIN).Ben grew up in Utah and is a graduate of Weber State University in Business Management. Ben spends his hours outside the office supporting his daughter at dance competitions and his son at golf tournaments.We welcome Ben to the AdvancedMD family.

New Manage Services link
We’ve recently created a Manage Services link on the Support Corner page at www.support.advancedmd.com to allow you to more easily request changes for your office, including additions and updates, removal of providers, adding features and training. This is one more way we’re helping you to request services and interact with AdvancedMD at your convenience.
The client admin will submit a request to create a case that is attached to the record which then gets routed to the appropriate team – Client Experience, Relationship Manager or Sales.
Introducing Your Implementation Team
Enrollments Team LeadMorganne Rudd started her career with AdvancedMD in 2012 as an EDI Specialist. In this role, Morganne made a huge impact by structuring daily processes for EDI agreements and assisting in the development of critical automation. In 2014 she moved into an implementation consultant role where she excelled at creating positive experiences for Practice Fusion partner clients.Morganne was recently promoted as an enrollments team lead. Within this role, Morganne is the driving force for our enrollments integration between AdvancedMD implementation and the clearinghouse. She has made significant strides in improving the EDI processes and timelines for greater efficiencies and accuracy.Morganne was born and raised in Utah but has lived in various states throughout her life. In her spare time she loves creating fond memories with family and friends. Morganne is looking forward to continuing her education by enrolling in pre-med courses later this year.
Implementation ConsultantJanet Benefield began her career with AdvancedMD in 2014. As an implementation consultant, Janet provides customer service and knowledge to her clients, striving to transition them to AdvancedMD products. She frequently strives to go above and beyond to provide high-level customer service to clients and associates, often taking the lead on custom and challenging Implementations. In Janet’s words, “The greatest satisfaction in my career is being present when our clients have that ‘aha moment’.”Prior to working at AdvancedMD, Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the home of the Fighting Illini (University of Illinois) and a Master’s Degree in Medical Science from Emory University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and gardening. Janet also enjoys watching both college and professional football. Her greatest achievement in life is raising her daughter, Bryana.
Implementation ConsultantMichelle London joined AdvancedMD in 2006. She has been training clients on Practice Management software for the past 10 years. More recently she became EHR certified and started training clients on the EHR software. Michelle enjoys working with each individual office and helping to customize AdvancedMD to their specific needs. Michelle enjoys working from her home office, and loves visiting client offices to see the system in action.Michelle has lived in Utah most of her life. She currently loves the desert life and outdoor adventures that living in Southern Utah offers. She and her husband, Jason, like to spend as much time as possible with their two daughters Mycah (10) and Layla (6).
Implementation ConsultantNichole started her career with AdvancedMD in 2013 and is currently an implementation consultant on the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. Nichole enjoys seeing her clients succeed through optimizing their use of AdvancedMD software and leveraging the efficiencies of the RCM services. She is passionate about making sure her client’s needs are met and that any issues arrive at the optimal solution. Her 13 years of billing experience in various specialties is optimal for her clients.Nichole is originally from Idaho and enjoys spending free time with her family. Raising five children keeps her organizational skills attune and always keep her on her toes. In the moments she gets to herself, Nichole enjoys immersing herself in a good book.

2015 Video Contest winner – Certified Healthcare Network
Certified Healthcare Network, a family operated medical business and practice management service, won first prize in the AdvancedMD Customer Video Contest. As the grand prize winner in the billing services category, Certified Healthcare Network is the recipient of a marketing campaign valued at $10,000.
