ePrescribing Potency Codes

AdvancedMD has partnered with Surescripts and the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs to modify our ePrescribing workflow to meet the new regulations. The new NCPDP SCRIPT 2017071 has a subset of Potency code standards required to be implemented by September 1, 2021. These codes are the units selected when writing a prescription and some will be sunset on August 19. Historical prescriptions written with units that are no longer valid need to be edited and a valid unit selected before they can be sent.
