AdvancedMD Announces Smart EHR Dashboard

South Jordan, UT – December 26, 2017 – AdvancedMD, a pioneer in integrated provider and patient workflow for independent physician practices, launches smart dashboard for AdvancedEHR, the newest addition to its unified medical office technology platform. The smart dashboard is a revolutionary new concept in EHR that shows all frequently-performed practice workflow elements in a single location for a remarkably convenient way to manage tasks with greater ease and speed.

“The standard for EHR utilization will be changed forever. Our revolutionary new practice dashboard allows doctors and practice administrators to visualize their clinical data, in real-time, and drive actions on prioritized to-do items like never before,” said Raul Villar, CEO at AdvancedMD. “They can complete tasks faster with minimal clicks to focus on what matters most.”

Transactions are compiled into easy-to-understand analytics. “It’s like having a personal clinical analyst compiling your workflow into a real-time snapshot of your outstanding tasks. You get a visual representation of action items to help you know what to do next and stay abreast of critical items,” said Naveen Sarabu, VP of Product Development at AdvancedMD. “In a similar way your smartphone organizes your life into apps, clinicians can organize all moving parts of their workflow into prioritized and actionable lists, from wherever they happen to be.”

The dashboard consists of three major sections:

Consolidated schedule snapshot: An enhanced single-column schedule snapshot that allows access to all common tasks. Clinicians can capture charges, check patients in and out, mark a no-show and manage rooming.

Outstanding task donuts: Drill-down donuts are prioritized into daily tasks. These visual, interactive graphs help complete tasks faster with minimal clicks. They also display alerts for urgent issues – such as abnormal lab results – that can help physicians avoid critical oversights. A library of eight task donuts helps prioritize how tasks are managed:

  • Prescriptions
  • Refill requests
  • Charge slips
  • Outstanding notes
  • Docs & images
  • Orders
  • Message
  • Online reputation

Prioritized in-box: The majority of the screen’s real estate is devoted to helping get tasks done quickly. As donuts are selected – such as labs, refills, outstanding notes, charge slips or messages – items are prominently displayed and prioritized in a familiar “in-box” layout.

EHR dashboard donuts allow physicians to stay connected to the pulse of their practice by gauging work volume with prioritized to-do tasks. Everything has been designed for physician workflow and any task-based clinical provider.

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”
