I am a current Global Payments Integrated (GPI) customer and would like to migrate to AdvancedMD Pay credit card processing. What is the process?

We have created a migration plan that is fast and effortless. Simply request a callback to learn more and we’ll follow up with details, timing, and pricing.

Do I need to purchase a new terminal?

Anyone using GPI will need to convert to our PAX A920 terminal, also known as a scanner or device. All software comes preinstalled. The device is plug-and-play ready to work with AdvancedMD.

How much does the PAX A920 terminal cost?

We require the PAX A920 terminal to collect card-present payments. It has been thoroughly tested and proven to work seamlessly and securely across your wireless network. The modern style and large color touchscreen make it simple for your patients and staff to use. All software is preinstalled to work natively with AdvancedMD.

  • Per unit pricing: $500/terminal, regardless of quantity.
  • Discounts & leasing: Multiple unit discounts and leasing options are being reviewed.

When can I expect to get my terminal?

During our initial rollout, terminals will be available by invitation to existing AdvancedMD Pay clients and then extended to all clients, including mutual GPI clients.

Can I keep my old GPI pricing?

Our pricing is different and we designed the ideal pricing model to give you competitive pricing regardless of your practice size or transaction volume. AdvancedMD Pay offers the lowest overall pricing with a fully-loaded predictable rate. There are no monthly fees. There are no hidden fees. There are no minimum requirements. Fees are per-transaction and you are only charged when you process a payment. We have simplified pricing for all credit and debit card types as well as networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, etc.) within an all-inclusive flat rate. This method is much easier for you to budget and forecast instead of having surprises from different card types and networks. You have 100% visibility and access to reports in our credit card center that show all charges, fees, volumes, etc.

How much does AdvancedMD Pay cost and what are the transaction fees?

This feature is a free add-on to your standard AdvancedMD software subscription. There are no monthly subscription costs or minimum requirements. You only pay for transactions, which makes AdvancedMD Pay highly beneficial for high-growth/high-volume, new, and low-volume practices.

  • Setup for AdvancedMD Pay: $150 per office key.
  • Conversion from GPI Card on File: $1500 per office key. This is an optional service and fee.
  • In-person payments: 30¢ per transaction + 2.6% of the payment amount.
  • Card-not-present payments: 30¢ per transaction + 3.0% of the payment amount.

I use the GPI credit-card-on-file feature. What can I expect in the migration?

A popular feature of GPI is credit-card-on-file (CCOF). AdvancedMD Pay includes a refined and robust CCOF feature that you and your patients can manage from anywhere. We have a proven and seamless process to move all your “stored” patient credit cards and auto debit schedules to AdvancedMD, so you won’t need to gather this information again from your patients.
