AdvancedPM & AdvancedEHR

Add Orders (EHR)

Dianon Order Form

We have added a new lab order form for Dianon Pathology. Previously, LabCorp® order forms
were used for Dianon lab orders.

Go to a patient’s chart and select the Orders icon.

HealthWatcher Overview (EHR)

Patient Viewable Check Box

You can now choose if a HealthWatcher™ item or template is viewable by the patient in the
Patient Portal using the new Patient Viewable check box. The check box is selected by
default. Clear the check box if you do not want the patient to be able to view the chart item in
the Patient Portal. Prior to this release all HealthWatcher items were viewable in the Patient
Portal.

Patient Cards (EHR)

Family Connections Card

Use the new Family Connections card to view family members associated with the patient
through a shared Responsible Party. The Family Connections card displays the number
of people associated to the same Responsible Party and lists their names, ages, birth
dates, and their relationship to the Responsible Party. The Responsible Party and
selected patient are highlighted blue.

Click a patient to open their chart.

Note: If the Responsible Party is not a patient, clicking their name will not open a chart.

Reports (PM)

Administered Immunizations Report

We are happy to announce the addition of a new standard report, Administered
Immunizations, to the Report Center.

Use the Administered Immunizations report as needed to manage your practice’s vaccine
inventory for both private and VFC funded immunization accounts. This report can be run for
each inventory account separately (private or VFC funded) or you can choose to include both
types of inventory in the report. The report is sorted by CVX code and then by lot code.
Dosage totals are by CVX code per lot code.

Go to Reports | Health Agencies | Administered Immunizations.

Online Statements Usage Report

We have added a new table, Paid Online, in the Online Statements Usage report. The
new table displays details on responsible parties who have made payments towards their
Total Balance from any Pay My Bill screen.

This report is also available for CBO master key users.

Go to Reports | Patient Billing | Online Statements Usage.

System Defaults (PM)

New Patient Portal Billing Phone Number

We have added a new system default for online patient billing, Include Billing Phone
Number. The billing department phone number displays in the Pay My Bill screen in the
Patient Portal and the stand-alone Pay My Bill screen. The default is blank.

Telemedicine (PM)

In response to 2018 EVO feedback, now all reply emails to AdvancedTelemedicine®
appointment emails will be sent to the email listed in the Practice Contact Email field in
the Telemedicine Settings screen.

“The money I have invested in AdvancedMD is miniscule compared to the return. I have never been more efficient – ever – in my professional life as I am now.”

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”

Keith Berkowitz, MD
