Mobile App Overview (Mobile)

We have added the following new features to the mobile app and iPhone® mobile app:

  • Schedule patients from the Wait List
  • View Patient Plans
  • Select additional Lab Order tests

We have also updated the following areas in the mobile app and iPhone mobile app:

  • Patient Search
  • Patient Pharmacies
  • Calculation Controls
  • Acronyms

Wait List
You can now create an appointment for a patient on the Wait List using the mobile app.

Patient Plans
You can now view patient plan information on the patient facesheet in the mobile app. Plans contain patient notes entered in the Summarize Plan field for the patient, along with the date of the note. Tap View Plans to view patient plan information.

Note: The Plans field is hidden if the patient does not have any patient notes with information in a Summarize Plan field.

Other Tests Field
You can now add additional tests to a patient’s lab order (not included in a selected Order Set), just as you can in EHR. The tests must be from the same lab company.

Patient Search
We have added patient chart numbers and addresses in search results.

Pharmacy Updates
We have made several updates regarding pharmacies in the mobile app and iPhone mobile app:

  • Added the ability to add, change, and delete a patient’s preferred and favorite
    pharmacies.
  • Updated icons in the Select Pharmacy map and grid.
  • Added the Preferred Pharmacy field to the patient Chart Summary.

Calculation Controls
We have updated calculation controls in patient notes so you can now clear and recalculate the field. This change gives you control over which values you want to save when charting.

Note: If no fields have a value entered, the calculation field remains empty. Calculations might not be accurate if any field values are missing.

Acronyms
We have improved acronym workflow in the mobile app by adding a two-letter word dictionary. If an acronym and two-letter word match, you can select the option you want. If you do not select an option, the two-letter word will be selected when you tap the space bar.
