Changed Decile Range of Performance Rates in 2021 Quality Benchmarks

As a result of a correction the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has made to 2021 quality benchmarks, the range of performance rates for a given decile has shifted down one decile.

CMS sent a notification to stakeholders regarding the decile error in the previously posted 2021 Quality Benchmarks.

Demographics Card Layout (PM)

Based on client feedback, we are happy to announce the following enhancements to the Demographics Card Layout screen:

  • Increased Work Space on Card Layout Screen
  • User-friendly Screen Setup Options
  • Screen Settings Stay on Computer
  • Use Shortcut Keys to Open the Care Team and Marketing Screens

Increased Work Space on Card Layout Screen

We have updated screen settings to increase the work space on the screen. As part of these updates, the navigation panel now displays as collapsed when the screen is launched.

User-friendly Screen Setup Options

We have added the following new screen view setting options:

  • Zoom Screen – Use the Zoom functionality to increase the size of the work screen.
  • Dark/Light Background – View the card layout screen with a darker background.
  • Hide/Show Cards – Hide the summary cards from the card layout screen.

Screen Settings Stay on the Computer

After you have customized the screen view settings on a specific computer, the settings will stay set on that computer.

Use Shortcut Keys to Open the Care Team and Marketing Referrals Screens

We have added new shortcut key options to quickly open the Care Team and Marketing Referrals screens:

  • Z = Care Team
  • L = Marketing Referrals

Hub (PM/EHR)

Updated Video Training Library

We’ve enhanced the Video Training Library with great new functionality. This update includes a vibrant new layout, improved search functionality, and a quick-view of product areas and workflows. You can also view featured, partner, and regulatory videos on the PM and EHR VTL landing pages. Additionally, PDF transcripts of videos are available for download and you can easily access help files relevant to the video topics.

Reports (PM)

Transaction Detail Report – Include Financial Class Data

We have added patient financial class data to the Transaction Detail report, along with the ability to filter report results by financial class. In addition, you can now choose to include any or all available transaction types in the report.

New filters include the following:

  • Financial Class Range
  • (Transaction Type) Include Options:
    • Include Charges
    • Include Payments
    • Include Adjustments

Mobile (Mobile)

Change ePrescribing Settings in the Mobile App

You can now change your ePrescribing settings and preferences right in the Mobile App, without having to access the desktop application.

Patient Portal Security (Patient Portal)

Multi-factor Authentication

We’re making your patients’ portal accounts even more secure by implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure only authorized users are able to access their accounts. Patients will now need to verify their identity when they log in to the patient portal. This feature will be released in stages over the next few months.

We have created an MFA patient resource, where patients can get step-by-step instructions on how to access their portal accounts.
