Appointment Reminders Feature (PM)

We listened to your feedback. We’ve updated the Appointment Reminders feature to prevent patients from canceling appointments through email or text within 24 hours prior to their visit. This will save your office no-show fees.

Eligibility (PM)

Check Eligibility Up to Ten Days Prior to Visit
We have increased the number of days prior to an appointment date that you can set the Check Eligibility Prior to Appt Date system default to performs an eligibility batch check.
The default is 3 days.

Updated Eligibility Status Icon and Tool Tip Messages
We have changed the eligibility denied status icon and updated the tool tip message from ‘Coverage Confirmed’ to ‘Review response from carrier’ when coverage is inactive or termed.
We have also updated the tool tip message for eligibility confirmed status icon, from ‘Coverage Confirmed’ to ‘Review response from carrier’.

Master Files (PM)

File Categories Master File Now in All Office Keys
The File Categories master file is now available in all office keys. This master file allows you to create, edit, and delete custom file categories to use in the Chart Files tab in Patient Demographics. Add a file category to any chart file group for improved file organization and easy access.

Go to Master Files | Templates | File Categories.

Patient Information (PM)

New Demographic Fields in Responsible Party Change Screen
We’ve improved the workflow for entering a new responsible party for an existing patient. New demographic fields added to the Responsible Party Change screen allow you to quickly create a responsible party record.

Important Note: Responsible party fields display when the responsible party system defaults are set to Yes.

Video Training Library (PM)

The following videos have been updated:

  • Blocks and Holds (4:57)
    Updated to include revised examples for the enhanced scheduler.
  • Quick Pay: Posting Insurance Payments (9:28)
    Updated to include ICN information.
  • Patient Billing Workflow (8:47)
    Updated to include the new Statement button in the Responsible Party tab.
