Carrier Search (PM)

Added CPID to Carrier Search
We have enhanced the carrier search so you can now search for a carrier based on CPID. You can also see the CPID within the carrier search details. This addition is available in any field where you can search for a carrier.

Note: The equal sign (=) is the short cut key for the CPID search value. Enter = in the Search Criteria to automatically search by CPID.

Billing (PM)

Check Search
We have added new filters to the Check Search Criteria to increase the specificity of your search. These new filters include:

  • Check Total Amount
  • Carrier Category
  • Carrier
  • Patient
  • Responsible Party

Collections (PM)

Collections Letters Preview Screen
You can now see a preview of a collection letter in the Collections detail screen in the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome™/ Windows®
  • Google Chrome™/ Mac®
  • Safari® / Mac®

The new functionality will be available in Internet Explorer® in the near future.

Go to PatientInfo | select a patient | select the Responsible Party tab | click Collections | select Letters.

Charge Entry (PM)

Extra Information
You can now save and close the Extra Information screen with one click. Press Alt+O as a shortcut to save and close the screen.

Forms (PM)

Forms Master File Template Enhancements
We have enhanced the Form Templates master file to include a form template editor that simplifies template building. Additionally, you can add images to templates so you can personalize forms and letters by adding your office logo.
Go to Utilities | Master Files | Templates | Form Templates.

The Form Templates functionality is now available when using:

  • Google Chrome™/ Windows®
  • Google Chrome™/ Mac®
  • Safari® / Mac®

The new functionality will be available in Internet Explorer® in the near future.

System Defaults (PM)

Display Canceled and No-show Appointments
We have added two new system defaults to the Appointments section:

Display Canceled Appointments
Select Yes if you want canceled to display on the Appointment Scheduler.
The default is No.

Display No-show Appointments
Select Yes if you want no-show appointments to display on the Appointment Scheduler.
The default is No.

Canceled and no-show appointments set to display in the scheduler will not be counted in the column appointment count. You can still schedule appointments over canceled and no-show appointments.

Marital Status System Default
We have added a new system default, Default Marital Status, that allows you to select the default patient marital status that displays on the Patient Information screen. Options include:

  • Blank
  • Single
  • Married
  • Divorced
  • Legally Separated
  • Widowed
  • Unknown

The default is Single.

Patient Kiosk
To support a future enhancement, we have added the Take Patient Photo system default
for the Patient Kiosk.

Select Yes to allow patients to take their own photo when completing a demographics form in
the Patient Kiosk.

Select No to hide the patient photo functionality. Patients will not be able to take their own
photo when completing a demographics form in the Patient Kiosk.

The default is Yes.

Go to Utilities | System Defaults | Patient Portal | Patient Kiosk.
