AdvancedInsight (PM)
The AdvancedInsight® module has an improved user interface with more layout, custom formatting, export, print, save, and sharing options. It is now easier to add, organize, and filter your PM financial data, present it the way you want, create charts right in the report, and make the report available to others. There are more printing and export options as well. With this update AdvancedInsight:
- Is browser agnostic
- Has new report types (crosstab reports)
- Has report templates/themes (or colors)
- Has drag and drop data fields
- Can use your custom equations
- Can preview your reports in Build Mode
- Can add graphs and pictures to reports
- Can create HTML, PDF, Excel®, Excel data, and CSV outputs
- Can print and export all outputs
- Can save personal use reports in My content
- Can save shareable reports for all AdvancedInsight users in the key in Team content

Voice Reminders (New Feature)
We are pleased to announce the new voice reminders feature. Voice reminders gives you more flexibility and additional options for customizing appointment reminders with features such as, the ability to detect a human voice or voice mail, using your office’s phone number for outgoing voice messages, and requesting callbacks.
This feature is part of AdvancedPatient Pro. To upgrade AdvancedPatient to AdvancedPatient Pro, call Client Support Services.
Important Note: Voice Reminders are limited to 600 call per month, per provider. Additional calls will accrue extra costs.

Configure Your System for Voice Reminders
Configure the following settings prior to creating a voice reminder template:
Go to Master Files | Templates | Automated Messaging & Reminders | Template Global Settings.

- Select the Turn on Voice Appointment Reminders check box.
- Follow instructions on the screen to verify your phone number in the Outgoing Phone (Voice) field.
Go to Master Files | Templates | Automated Messaging & Reminders | Template Settings.

- Select necessary End of Message Actions in the Voice Settings section.
Click Patient icon | select a patient | click the Patient Messaging Preferences icon.
- Select the Voice check box for Appointment Reminders in Patient Messaging Preferences.
Billing (PM)
Period Close Scheduling
You can now schedule your financial periods to automatically close on specific dates and times by using the new Period Close Scheduling functionality on the Period Close screen. Additionally, the new screen has an updated, easy-to-use design that combines the current manual period close functionality and historical period close data.
Schedule a Period Close
Go to Billing | Period Close.
- Click Schedule.
- Enter a name for the Schedule Rule.
- Enter your schedule run parameters:
- Start Date – The start date for the Schedule Rule.
- Run Time – The time of day the period close will process.
- Recurrence – The day of the month the period close will process.
- End Date – The end date for the Schedule Rule
- Force Close Open Batches – Select Yes to force close open batches when periods included in the Schedule Rule are closed. The default setting is No.
- Click Save. The period close schedule displays in the Period Close screen grid. The Period Close screen grid displays the next twelve scheduled periods.
Notes:
- To update a Schedule Rule, click the Schedule button.
- To delete a Schedule Rule, click the Schedule button, select the rule, and click the delete icon.
- To make exceptions to one individual Schedule Rule, click the Scheduled icon on the grid.
Mobile App Patient Kiosk (Mobile)
If you have Touch ID (fingerprint recognition) enabled on your iPad®, you can now use your fingerprint to log in to the Patient Kiosk app.
Touch ID is only available on iPad Air 2 and newer.
Role Setup (PM)
Restrict Users From Viewing All Messages
With the new View All Messages role privilege, you can now choose, based on role, whether users can see all users messages or just their own messages. The View All Messages privilege is selected for all roles by default.
Notes:
- This role privilege works in conjunction with the Allow users to view/action other’s messages system default when it is set to Yes.
- The View All Messages role privilege does not override the functionality of Auto Forward or Distribution Lists.
Restrict Role From Viewing All Messages
Go to Utilities | Role Setup | Dashboard.
- Select a Role.
- Clear the View All Messages check box to restrict users with that role from viewing all users messages in the Message center.
System Default (PM)
We have removed three Claims system defaults because they are no longer necessary. You can use the ERA Rules master file to set up custom rules that replace these system defaults.
