Patient Reporting (EHR)
We are excited to announce we have made several updates to Patient Reporting, including the following:
• Select a custom date range using begin and end date fields
• Remove columns from the result grid
• In the Criteria section, the Remove link has been changed to an X button
• The Not check box has been relocated closer to the beginning of the criteria row

Supervising Provider NPI Included in Prescriptions

Prescriptions (PM/EHR)
Prescriptions created in either the ePrescribing module of the PM, or the New Rx tab in the EHR, that require a Supervising Provider signature will now include the following details for the supervising provider:
• NPI number
• Address
• Phone number
Supervising provider details are displayed under the signature line on a printed prescription and are included in the electronic file when sending a prescription electronically.

Meaningful Use Modified Stage 2 (PM/EHR)

Meaningful Use Modified Stage 2 (PM/EHR)
We have updated the Meaningful Use Modified Stage 2 help files to include the latest information about measures, alternatives, exclusions, calculations, data definitions, and workflow.

Patient portal credentials login

AdvancedPatient (Mobile)
Patient portal account holders can now select to view forms for any patient associated to their patient portal account. Now when an account holder uses their patient portal credentials to log in, and their portal account has multiple patients with assigned forms, the account holder can select which patient’s forms to view.

Printing blank patient forms

AdvancedPatient Patient Forms (PM)
You can now print a blank copy of a patient check-in form directly from the Patient Forms Preview screen. This is helpful when a patient does not have access to the patient portal and needs to manually complete a check-in form while in your office.

Charge slip updates

Mobile App (Mobile)
We have added the ability to edit charge slips from the charge slip screen in the mobile app. You can still also edit charge slips from the edit screen.
As part of this update, we have changed some of the tools for editing charge slips to make them easier to use:
• Adding units
• Adding modifiers
• Copying procedure codes
• Deleting diagnosis codes
We have also added the ability to select a POS (Place of Service) on both the main charge slip screen and the Edit screen.

NQF quality measure reports

Reports (PM/EHR)
We have added a 2016 option in the Reporting Year field in the NQF Quality Measures and NQF Quality Measures Detail reports to make it easier for you to run the report for the 2016 reporting year. You can now filter the reports for 2016, and the Low and High Date fields will automatically update for the 2016 reporting year. The default year is 2016.

Use OpenEdge payment processor

System Defaults (PM)
To accommodate an upcoming release, we have added a new Transaction Entry system default, Use OpenEdge Payment Processor. When set to Yes, your system will use the new EMV® (chip-enabled) functionality when processing credit card payments.

AdvancedPatient forms library feature

AdvancedPatient Forms (PM)
We have enhanced the Patient Forms Template Designer by adding a new Library feature where you can view and import patient and consent forms. Patient and consent forms are listed under the new AdvancedPatient® Forms specialty filter in the library.
We have also streamlined the saved templates list to show only patient form templates.

AdvancedPatient forms

Template Library (EHR)
We have added a new Selected Specialty filter, AdvancedPatient Forms, to the Template Library. The AdvancedPatient Forms option displays patient and consent forms that can be assigned to patients in the AdvancedPatient Patient Forms tool.

“The money I have invested in AdvancedMD is miniscule compared to the return. I have never been more efficient – ever – in my professional life as I am now.”

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”
