PM and EHR Updates

AdvancedCQM (PM)

We are excited to announce the following updates and enhancements to AdvancedCQM:

  • Rerun reports for individual patients
  • History tab
  • eCQM 2019 Measure 68 – Include same-day medication review

Rerun Reports

Click Rerun Patient on the Drilldown tab to rerun reports for individual patients to see if

they meet measure requirements based on updates made to their patient data in EHR.

History Tab

The History tab displays when you rerun a report for an individual patient. Click History to

view data for each rerun of the report and easily compare patient information from the

Previous report to the New report.

 

eCQM 2019 Measure 68 – Include Same-day Medication Review

We have updated eCQM 2019 Measure 68 to now include patients in the numerator if the

Medications Reviewed check box was selected for a patient in EHR on the same day as an

eligible encounter.

Previously, the Medications Reviewed check box had to be selected during the eligible

encounter.

AdvancedFax (PM/EHR)

AdvancedFax Provider

You can now select a provider when you send items to EHR using AdvancedFax®. Items are

added to the patient’s chart with the selected provider.

If no provider is selected, items sent to EHR using AdvancedFax are added to the patient’s

chart with the patient’s default provider selected.

Master Files (PM)

Fee Schedule – Increase Charges By Update

 We have enhanced the Increase All Charges By field limit to four characters on the Copy

Fee Schedule screen. When copying a fee schedule, you can now increase fee schedules by

up to 9,999%.

Social Media Review Links

Customize Survey Review Sites

We have enhanced the Social Media Review Links screen. You can now:

  • Add a Custom Website URL
  • Add a Business Name

Additionally, as part of this change, we have converted the survey review site buttons to plain

text.

Create Custom Survey Option

 In addition to selecting Google™ and Facebook reviews, you can now select to display your

business name and a custom review site, such as Vitals® or HealthGrades™ on the reputation

management survey.

 Important Note: You must set up profiles for the predefined sites (HealthGrades™,

RateMDs®, Vitals®, WebMD®) before you can add URLs to the Custom Website URL field.

 Patient Consent (EHR)

Use the new Patient Consent screen to view and record patient consent or denial for

importing and sharing health data.

You can view and record information for three different types of consent:

  • Patient consent medication history
  • Consent to share data
  • Consent to share data with HIEs

Patient Chart (EHR)

We have made several updates to the patient chart

  • Patient Information Pane
    • Added access to the new Patient Consent
  • Medication Patient Card
    • Consolidated Medications card icons.
    • Added an icon to access the new Patient Consent
    • Added an icon to access History for each prescription.

Patient Information Pane

 Access Patient Consent

 Click the new Patient Consent icon to open the new Patient Consent screen where

you can view and edit patient consent or denial for importing and sharing their health data.

Medications Patient Card

 We have several updates to the Medications  patient card.

Consolidate Medications Card Icons

We have consolidated the icons for the Medications  card under a new ellipsis icon.

Access Patient Consent Screen

 Use the new gear icon to open the new Patient Consent screen.

Access Prescription History

Use the new History icon to open the Prescription History screen for each prescription.

Payment Details (PM)

Posting Method

Use the new Posting Method field to view the screen used to post the payment.

Note: The posting method will change if the payment is edited.

Prescription History (EHR)

We have updated the look of the Prescription History screen but it maintains the same

functionality.

Report Center (PM)

Patient Characteristics

 Use the new Patient Characteristics report as needed to create a detailed report of patient

demographic information, including gender identity, sexual orientation, and additional gender

identity and sexual orientation options. Having a list of data detailing this information can

help you evaluate the range of patients you are serving.

Patient Vaccine records

We are happy to announce the addition of a new standard report, Patient Vaccine Record,

to the Report Center. Use the Patient Vaccine Record report as needed to generate

detailed or summary reports of patient vaccination records for your practice.

Scheduler (PM/EHR)

Provider View Enhancements

We are happy to announce several enhancements to Provider View in Scheduler:

  • Add a Facility Rule:
    • Use the new Color field in the Facilities master file to associate a color to a

facility.

  • Use the new Add a Facility Rule screen to visually indicate the facility where

the provider is scheduled.

  • Scheduler Settings screen – Use the new Schedule Settings screen to create block

and hold reasons.

Blocks and Holds – View blocks and holds in Provider View.

 Add Facility Rule

Add a facility rule to the provider schedule to visually indicated where the provider is scheduled.

Set up Facility Color

Before you add a Facility Rule in the Provider View screen, associate a color with the facility to display in the Provider View.

Once you have associated a color with the facility, you can add a  Facility Rule in the Provider View schedule.

 Scheduler Settings Screen

 Use the new Scheduler Settings screen from the More Options drop-down to create Block Time reasons and Hold Time reasons.

Template Library (EHR)

New Notes and Patient Forms

 We are happy to announce the release of the following new notes and patient forms to the Family Practice and Rheumatology specialty folders in the Template Library.

Video Training Library

The following videos have been updated:

  • AdvancedMD® Mobile Basics

Reflects new AdvancedMD Mobile name change.

  • AdvancedMD Mobile – Provider Visit Workflow

Includes editing an appointment.
