AdvancedMD is proud to be named a leader on the FrontRunner Quadrant.
What’s the FrontRunners Quadrant?
The FrontRunners Quadrant highlights the top software products for North American small businesses, like the many independent practices we serve. These independent practices use FrontRunners to make informed decisions about what software is right for their private practice.
How are FrontRunners products selected?
To create this quadrant, Software Advice evaluated over 150 Mental Health Electronic Medical Record (EMR) products. You can find the full FrontRunners methodology here, but the gist is that companies, like AdvancedMD, are scored in two areas, capability and value. Scores are based largely on user reviews from real software users, product capabilities, and value, along with other product performance details, e.g., what features they offer, value for the cost, whether they’re worth the price/cost and how many customers they have. Essentially, what makes them stand out for small business software success. The upper right FrontRunners quadrant equals the leaders, which are all-around strong products; offering a wide range of functionality to a wide range of customers. These products are considered highly valuable by customers.
FrontRunners is a 100% data-driven assessment of the most capable and valuable products for small businesses, published on Software Advice. Scores are largely based on end user reviews of your software across the three Gartner Digital Markets sites (Software Advice, Capterra and GetApp). To even be considered for this FrontRunners, a product has to meet a minimum user rating score of 2.5 for capability and 2.0 for value. To be considered at all, products must have at least 10 reviews and meet minimum user rating scores. Companies are also required to offer a core set of functionality—for example, charting, order entry, decision support and more—and must explicitly support mental health professionals. The companies appear in the quadrant in relation to how their peers performed. Practices with greater needs may opt for multi-featured products, which can be found on the right half of the quadrant.
