AdvancedMD for any browser: A sneak peek

EMR/EHR

advancedmd-articles-browserAgnostic

One of our core strategic initiatives in development is working to bring our applications to non-Microsoft platforms as well as non-Microsoft browsers. This is part of a multi-pronged approach to make clinical data available when and where you need it.

You asked, we listened

AdvancedMD has always delivered innovative web applications to the healthcare community. We have been asked when our application will be available on browsers other than Internet Explorer, or operating systems other than Windows. We have heard your feedback, and although our entire application is not quite ready to run from any browser, we want you to know we’ve taken the first step to provide additional browser choices. We now want to give you the opportunity to be among the first to see the first release before it’s available to the remainder of our clients.

A sneak peek

As you would expect, a project that allows all of our clients to use the browser of their choice is a large undertaking. Rather than wait for the final unveiling of our work, we wanted to share the exciting journey that we’re undertaking.

We are currently wrapping up the first step of our journey, the login process. We want to invite you to take a peek at our progress by beta testing our login process. At this point, you can login and continue to use the application with Internet Explorer 9+. The application is not yet functional with a non-Internet Explorer browser, however, we invite you to login to see the progress.

Simply click, or copy + paste, this link into your browser of choice: login.advancedmd.com

What the future holds

We have created this new login process utilizing state-of-the-art security and processes so you can login to AdvancedMD from Chrome, Safari and Firefox, or Internet Explorer. This accessibility can equate to happier staff, allow you to finally use Apple products to give your office atmosphere that extra something you’ve been looking for, and deliver faster and more efficient usability. Look forward to next steps soon.
