Charge Entry
Learn to set up & use episodes, multiple concurrent referrals, DME charges, CMN forms, complicated insurance & responsible party scenarios to efficiently enter charges.
Learn to proficiently use each tab of the claims center, including a review of the end-of-day process. You will receive help with correcting unbilled & exclusion errors, as well as learn to use EDI reports.

Payment Posting
Learn to use ERA, Quick Pay & Transaction Entry Payment screens to post insurance payments. Your trainer will share different ways to process patient payments in AdvancedMD.
Learn to modify or create AdvancedPatient consent forms & templates. These templates are used to gather patient data that can be brought into visit notes within AdvancedEHR. Learn to utilize the portal or apps to increase the efficiency & accuracy of patient documentation. (4 hour minimum for those unfamiliar with the EHR Template Builder.)

Institutional Billing/UB04
Learn the features to set up & bill UB04 claims on the CMS 1450 (UB04) form.

Note Templates
TOPIC 1: Learn to delete, modify, reorder & create fields within the templates imported from the library to better match your office workflow. (2 hours)
TOPIC 2: Learn to create note & subnote templates from scratch in AdvancedEHR based on previously-used content. (2 hours)

Word Merge
Learn to create & modify Word Merge documents to provide a printed record of a patient visit. (4 hours for those without strong experience in Word.)
Learn to create, maintain & electronically send prescriptions. We help with electronic prescribing of controlled substances (if applicable) & managing renewal requests.

Lab Orders & Results
Learn how to efficiently create & track your orders, identify missing results & enter results as trackable or reportable data.
Learn to set up & use HealthWatcher to better manage patient care & increase efficiencies by automatically creating appointments, medications orders & lab orders.
Learn to utilize patient reporting to identify patient groups with specific characteristics & to attach documents to reports (such as letters to send) to help your practice send clinical documents to a group of patients.
Learn to set up & use AdvancedTelemedicine for virtual visits. You’ll work with a test patient to learn best-practices for telemedicine appointments to ensure effective & proficient use of the technology.
