MACRA/MIPS

Thursday, July 23,  10am MDT

Is MIPS 2020 still happening? The latest info from CMS says “Yes”. We’ll give you the latest updates from CMS for 2020 requirements and focus on the PI and IA categories.

The PI and IA MIPS categories can account for up to 40% or more of your MIPS final score for 2020. Each category needs to be done consecutively for any 90-day period during 2020. There is still plenty of time to earn good scores in these two categories, even with the challenges from this year. In this informational webinar, we’ll give an overview of the MIPS categories details and include tips and suggestions for getting your best scores possible. We’ll discuss:

  • The latest information from CMS for MIPS 2020
  • How to apply for relief with MIPS 2020 for one or more categories
  • How score re-weighting works if you claim for relief from a category
  • Details about the PI category
  • Tips to earn the best score you can in the time remaining this year
  • How to get maximum points in the IA category

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”
