JPL Family Medicine Documentary

We’ve been traveling around the country visiting with some wonderful independent practices and staff and asking them to tell their stories through documentaries. These amazing practices are doing some very astonishing things to improve health outcomes, patient engagement and their financial performance.

We’re delighted to provide these independent practice documentaries, which we call our Practice Life collection. We hope you’ll find their stories educational and inspiring to reaffirm the rewards of private practice.

Please meet Dr. Kimberly Jackson, family practitioner, and vice president of JPL Family Medicine, Derric Jackson. They’ve created a thriving rural practice in Phenix City, Alabama over the past 11 years. This is a wonderful story of a physician who decided to not join a hospital but to pursue a career in private practice. Enjoy her story. Watch it for free on YouTube.

“The money I have invested in AdvancedMD is miniscule compared to the return. I have never been more efficient – ever – in my professional life as I am now.”

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”
