Patient chart layout update

We have updated the layout of the patient chart on all chart screens so the patient photo, date of birth, and age now display at the top next to the patient name. Previously, the patient photo, date of birth, and age displayed on the side toolbar.

Credit Card Processing (PM)

We are excited to announce that we have enhanced the credit card processing feature so now you can use chip and pin cards, and Apple PayTM and Google WalletTM cards. Along with this enhancement, we have updated the credit card processing screens with a new look and feel. Also, when a patient’s card expires, it will automatically be updated with the new expiration date.


Payment processing accounts

Master Files (PM)
If your credit card processing system is converted from a PayPros® account to a chip and pin enabled OpenEdge® account, you will receive a new account token.
To assist you with this upgrade, we have enhanced the Payment Processing Accounts master file with a Mapping Old Tokens to New Token feature so you can easily assign your existing PayPros account tokens to your new OpenEdge account token.

We have removed the AdvancedMobile™ Apple Watch® extension to make updates based on new Apple® technology.


Front office check-in kiosk

The name of the Admin Check-in Kiosk is now Front Office Check-in Kiosk. You can see this change on the icon on your mobile device as well as when you log in.

We are excited to announce we have made several updates to Patient Reporting, including the following:
• Select a custom date range using begin and end date fields
• Remove columns from the result grid
• In the Criteria section, the Remove link has been changed to an X button
• The Not check box has been relocated closer to the beginning of the criteria row


Supervising Provider NPI Included in Prescriptions

Prescriptions (PM/EHR)
Prescriptions created in either the ePrescribing module of the PM, or the New Rx tab in the EHR, that require a Supervising Provider signature will now include the following details for the supervising provider:
• NPI number
• Address
• Phone number
Supervising provider details are displayed under the signature line on a printed prescription and are included in the electronic file when sending a prescription electronically.

Patient portal credentials login

AdvancedPatient (Mobile)
Patient portal account holders can now select to view forms for any patient associated to their patient portal account. Now when an account holder uses their patient portal credentials to log in, and their portal account has multiple patients with assigned forms, the account holder can select which patient’s forms to view.
