Spring 2018 Newsletter
The Intelligent Practice
Dear valued clients:
I’m excited to present our spring newsletter. It’s an ideal way for me to introduce and explain our newest creation announced just yesterday, Rhythm.
Rhythm was created to show anyone who interacts with AdvancedMD, whether long-term, new, or prospective clients, and even our employees, a huge milestone we’ve accomplished in the marketplace. In short, Rhythm powers the beat of the independent physician and the heart of the private practice. Rhythm includes our entire AdvancedMD unified cloud platform of smart applications, including EHR, practice management and patient engagement suite.
Rhythm allows you to easily prioritize clinical workflow, satisfy patients and get paid for delivering value-based care – all with reduced effort, less hassle and no additional staff. Rhythm includes our legendary billing, flexible scheduling, simple charting, accurate reporting and easy-to-use patient relationship management tools. When you have Rhythm, you have a complete solution to practice unity.
Many new clients who come to AdvancedMD previously experienced varying degrees of frustration and chaos that occur from standalone practice management, EHR and patient engagement point solutions that simply do not communicate well together. In professional services, we hear frustrations from double data entry, reconciliation errors, lackluster collections performance, unreliable reporting and restricted clinical data access. These are just the beginning.
This is why we created Rhythm. Everything works seamlessly together and in unison. Rhythm allows you to prioritize clinical workflow, satisfy patients and get paid for delivering value-based care – all with reduced effort, less hassle and no additional staff. We’re extremely happy to see so many of our clients have Rhythm in their practices. Learn how you too can alleviate disparate medical office software chaos with Rhythm.

Introducing Your Implementation Team
Kimberly Ricks joined AdvancedMD in March of 2006 and has worked in the medical software industry for nearly 20 years. She started as a relationship manager when the company had only 76 employees and has enjoyed seeing the company grow to more than 500 employees. Kimberly is an implementation department manager for our medical practice clients. Kimberly says one of the most rewarding aspects of the position is when clients and employees experience the “aha moment” when the benefits of using AdvancedMD software become clear. Kimberly enjoys getting to speaking with clients over the phone and creating lasting friendships at our yearly users’ conference. She enjoys the rapidly changing technology.
Kimberly is a member of AAPC and enjoys staying educated on the ever-changing world of medical billing and software. Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys reading, spending time in the beautiful Utah mountains, watching her nieces play lacrosse and planning her next travel adventure.
Anne-Lois joined the AdvancedMD Implementation team in January of 2016. She was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and received her BS in Psychology from Georgia State University. Anne-Lois has spent more than eight years in the healthcare industry and previously worked for dermatology and plastic surgery groups. She enjoys onboarding new clients in implementation. She understands the challenges of starting a new practice and the challenges practices go through to change medical software. The most rewarding part of her job is helping providers and their staff integrate efficient workflows, allowing them to keep their focus on their patients.
Lorraine goes by Leini (lay-knee). She is a tenured enrollment specialist and enjoys sharing her vast knowledge. Leini started on the AdvancedMD enrollments team in 2014 and enjoys working with clients. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will leave with not only a better understanding of the enrollments process, but a smile and a couple of laughs as well.
Leini is approachable and helps people realize their full potential. Her goal is to help clients experience success, this can be witnessed by the time she spends explaining and answering questions. She is focused, detail-oriented and never too busy to help her co-workers.
Leini is originally from Southern California and moved to Utah in 2012. Leini likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, listening to music, food, Russell’s starlight mint ice cream and walks on the beach.

Bianca has worked in the healthcare industry for over 18 years and has been an implementation consultant on the billing service team for the past seven years. After experiencing various aspects of the software industry, such as implementation, support, EDI enrollments and relationship management, she loves implementation the most.
