Dear valued client:
With 2015 behind us, I want to take this opportunity to thank the clients, partners and employees of AdvancedMD. Without you we would not be where we are today, doing what we love. And more importantly, we would not have the opportunity to help you run a more profitable and efficient practice, and allow you to do what you love: help your patients.
This past year has been exciting for AdvancedMD. From developing new products and technologies and growing to serve more and more independent practices, to implementing ICD-10 and other healthcare regulations, 2015 challenged and pushed us to become even better as a premium healthcare IT organization. We’re excited to introduce additional products this year that will allow you to help even more patients.
Being able to boast a growing customer base of more than 21,000 independent physicians and 500 medical billing services gives us an amazing sense of accomplishment. Thank you for your business, your patience, your loyalty and your feedback. The strides we’ve made to make this past year are due in large to your participation, interaction and openness with us. We appreciate your support and use it to channel our energies into developing the tools to keep your practice profitable.
The launch of our marketplace last year provides strategic partnerships to expand the capabilities of our software. As we continually grow our Marketplace partnerships, we do so with the purpose of adding value to our independent practice clients. We appreciate our partners and look forward to adding new functionalities this year.
You keep our ship going day in and day out, and you make AdvancedMD the premier independent practice software company. Each day presents exciting challenges and opportunities. As one of the most efficient and effective teams of professionals around, there is no doubt that AdvancedMD will continue to flourish through 2016 and beyond. Thank you for your hard work, new ideas and unrelenting dedication and determination to helping our customers succeed.

Best Practices for 2016
As you evaluate current processes and workflows within your practice, consider implementing these recommended best practices. Each will improve the timeliness of your reimbursement and the overall success of the billing process:
- Review your Client Action Worklist on a regular basis, as it includes items that need your immediate attention – contact client services if you’re not familiar with this tool
- Check eligibility – this reduces denials and items that appear on your client action worklist
- Scan insurance cards
- Approve charges in a timely manner
- Import carriers rather than entering them manually. If needed, contact client services for help. Our configuration team reviews and approves each newly added carrier without needing to notify us. It’s part of what we do to make the billing process easier
Custom RCM report to track payment method payments. Current custom report has been enhanced to include multiple date parameters and ERA check/reference numbers. This new report will be added to your office key soon.
