Audit Tracking (EHR)

Patient Portal Audit Tracking Enhancements
We have enhanced patient portal audit logs by adding reporting for the following fields:

  • l Patient Name
  • l Patient Portal Account Email
  • l Account Name

Charge Detail (PM)

You can now update the financial class across all charges on the same visit. After you save your change, the system will prompt you to update the entire visit or the individual charge. Previously you could not update the financial class across all visits or update the charge.


Master Files (PM)

Claim Inspector Rules
We have added the following new filters to the Custom Rules in the Claim Inspector Rules master file:

  • l Facility
  • l Financial class
  • l Group
  • l Provider profile
  • l Charge code

Patient Portal (PM)

We have updated the Patient Portal setup screen to display more information regarding the status of patient portal accounts.
We have added:

  • l Portal account statuses that indicate:
    • l If a patient does not have a portal account
    • If an invitation has been sent but the patient has not yet enrolled
    • When a patient last logged into their account
  • A message indicating when a password reset message has been sent.

We have also enhanced patient portal password security to meet the latest industry standards.

System Defaults (PM)

We have added a new system default, Require Patient Preferred Phone Number, that gives you ability to require a patient phone number when saving an appointment. The default is No.


Claims Center (PM)

EDI Reports Tab
We have added the ability to restore archived reports back to the Active EDI Reports list by using the new Move to Active button in the Archived Reports screen.


Carriers Master File (PM)

Carrier Import
We have added Claim Payer ID (CPID) as a search criteria in the Carrier Import screen.


CBO (PM)

Collections Worklist
We have added an Office Key field to the Collections by Visit screen in the CBO master key. Now CBO clients can see at a glance which office key each patient is linked to.


Reports (PM)

Day Close – Final
We have enhanced the Day Close – Final report to allow you to close all open batches from
the report prior to closing the day. When you run the report, if there are open batches, you
can click the Close Batches and Continue on the Day Close – Open Batches screen to
close all open batches.


Confirm Appointments (PM)

We have added the patient’s Date of Birth and Gender to the hover tool tip in the Confirm Appointments screen. This vital information is now readily available to confirm patient authenticity and differentiate between patients that have the same name, or other similar demographic information.


Mobile App Overview (PM/ EHR/ Mobile)

Mobile Updates
We have made several updates to the mobile app, including:

  • Added the Recurring Appointments feature to the Schedule
  • Added the Appointment History feature
  • Supported restricted columns set up in PM
  • Added ability to remove facility when creating or editing an appointment
  • Added two new prescription icons to the iPhone mobile app
  • Updated unit codes for prescriptions sent electronically
  • Updated the Chart Number field to accept up to 12 alphanumeric characters

Default Report Categories
We have organized the AdvancedInsight default reports into categories to help you easily find the reports you need. The number of default reports available is steadily increasing, and this method of organization will streamline this continued expansion.
