Charge Slips (EHR)

Display Drop-off and Pickup Address on Charge Slip

You can now enter ambulance Drop-off Address and Pickup Address information on charge slips in EHR to make it easier to bill claims that require this information. When you sign the charge slip in EHR, the information populates on the Charge Detail | Extra Information screen in the HIPAA Situational Fields (5010) section in PM and displays in the 2310E and 2310F ANSI loop for ambulatory claims.

As part of this enhancement, we have added the new Show Pick up/Drop off address on Charge Slip global setting, where you can select to display the Drop-off Address and Pickup Address fields on charge slips in EHR. By default, the check box is cleared.

Messages (EHR)

Changed “From” Date Field Default

To improve the performance of the Messages screen, the From date now defaults to 30 days in the past. You can enter a different From date or use the calendar to select a date, if needed.

Prescriptions (EHR)

“[Our] patients are very well-educated and well-informed, and they want to see results quickly. The practice has to run extremely efficiently and be accessible to them. The nice thing about [AdvancedMD] is it has allowed me to be more efficient both in and out of the office. Now I don’t have to come back into the office, which is great for my family and everything else. It saves me a lot of time – probably an hour a day on the three days I work in the second office.”

Keith Berkowitz, MD
