Claims Center (PM)
We have renamed the Void button in Claim Inspector to Void Visit to clarify that when you click the button the entire visit is voided with all of the charges, and you cannot post any new charges to the visit.
Report Center (PM)
We have updated the look and feel of the Report Center with a dynamic dashboard and new features designed to enhance workflow. The new report center gives you the ability to quickly search, save, and generate your most important reports all from one screen.
We have updated the mobile app so now the length of time the app will idle before returning to the PIN screen is the same as the idle time set for your EHR and PM in the Idle Time Before Automatic Logout system default (in PM).
Claim Submission Wizard
To increase efficiency, we have changed the threshold for splitting large claim runs in Claims Submission Wizard from 900 claims to 200 claims.
We have added a new system default, Split Claim Runs At (Read-only), so you can customize your practice’s threshold for splitting large claim runs. The default setting is 200.
We have automated your Collections workflow. Now, when the Hold Patient Billing for Promised Payment system default is set to Yes, and a Follow Up date is entered in Collections, a new system-defined hold reason, XP Promised Payment, is automatically populated in the Hold Reason field in the Responsible Party tab. Additionally, the Until date in the Responsible Party tab is updated to match the Follow Up date, unless the Until date is later than the Follow Up date entered in Collections.
System Defaults (PM)
We have added the Default electronic signature printed prescription EHR system default. This default can disable electronic signatures on printed prescriptions. When a provider is set up to sign prescriptions electronically, prescriptions will print with the electronically signed indicator.
We have made several updates to the AdvancedPatient™ Appointment Reminders feature to improve usability, including:
• Moving the Turn on Text and Email Reminders check box and Schedule controls into the Settings icon
• Adding a Caution icon to indicate that required text is missing on an unselected tab
• Changing the Max Character limit for the Text Message field to 300 characters and adding a Remaining Character count
We have updated the Responsible Party, Insurance and Subscriber screens so now date of birth and subscriber ID are required in cases where the patient has a Medicare carrier but is not the subscriber. This update reduces eligibility rejections because date of birth and subscriber ID are required by Medicare in the 5010 EDI format in order to check patient insurance eligibility.
